Statistics: Real disposable income in Russia falls 5.7% in May
MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) – Russians’ real disposable income decreased 5.7% on the year and fell 11.5% on the month in May, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement Monday.
In January–May, the real disposable income decreased 4.9% on the year.
The real disposable income excludes taxes and other mandatory payments and its performance is adjusted for inflation.
The nominal average monthly wage stood at 36,570 rubles in May, up 6.2% on the year.
In 2015, Russians’ real disposable income dropped 4%.
